Why settle for anything less then the best is one of the best sales pitches you hear.  What is more impressive is why settle for anything that does not work where you need it to work.  Up until now, 3G has been the signal of choice for trail camera companies.  One of the many problems with 3G is that you have to choose a chip set that is either compliant with AT&T and T-Mobile (GSM) or Verizon and US Cellular (CDMA).  This forced consumers to have to choose between their carriers, what what gets limited signal and what is available to purchase.  By switching to 4G, it allows you to use the camera on the carrier or your choice as all carriers use the same signal.  In addition, new towers being built are all 4G, and although they are backwards compatible with 3G, the towers are built for 4G which leaves large gaps in coverage which usually end up being where you hunt.  4G technology also allows us to create features that would not be possible to even attempt on 3G networks.
